    ‘The Voice’ Live Playoffs: Who Was Eliminated From the Top 20?

    It was the moment singers on The Voice had been waiting for, when they had their chance to finally show off their singing skills live during the first live playoffs.

    Season 21’s live show kicked off on Monday November 8, with the contestants on Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, John Legend and Blake Shelton’s teams giving it their all on stage.

    But it was up to the viewers who got to go through to the next round, with voting open online for them to decide. The results were revealed on Tuesday night’s show.

    As well as the public vote, the judges were also allowed to pick one person from their team to save, and a singer could compete to earn the Wildcard Instant Save pass.

    So who made the cut, and who was eliminated from the race?

    Who was saved by the public vote?

    8 singers were chosen to be saved by the viewers of The Voice, with two contestants from each team being sent to the next round.

    Who did the judges save from their teams?

    The Voice judges each selected one person from their team to save, with Clarkson picking Gymani, Legend choosing Shadale, Grande picking Ryleigh Plank, and Shelton decided on saving Lana Scott.

    Who won the Wildcard Instant Save?

    After the first round of singers who the public voted to keep on the show were revealed, as well as the first four who were eliminated, it was time for the remaining five singers to sing one last time to earn the Wildcard Instant Save.

    Viewers voted during the episode to decide who their favorite remaining singer was, and they were then instantly through to next week’s show.

    It was between Bella DeNapoli (Team Ariana), Hailey Mia (Team Kelly), Peedy Chavis (Team Blake), Samuel Harness (Team Legend) and Vaughn Mugol (Team Ariana)

    Who was eliminated from the Top 20?

    In the first round of eliminations there were four singers to be removed from the competition, with Carson Daly revealing one person from each team was going.

    Here’s who was eliminated in the first half of the show:

    • Katie Rae (Team Kelly)
    • David Vogel (Team Legend)
    • Raquel Trinidad (Team Ariana)
    • LiBianca (Team Blake)

    A further four singers were eliminated after they performed for a chance to earn the Wildcard instant save.
