Lady Gaga is among the legions of fans celebrating the end of Britney Spears’s 13-year conservatorship.
Judge Brenda Penny announced the long-awaited ruling in court on Friday, November 12. “The court finds and determines that the conservatorship of the person and the estate is no longer required, therefore effective today, the conservatorship of the person and estate of Britney Jean Spears is hereby terminated,” Penny said, according to People.
