Bengals’ Joe Burrow responds to question on gun reform, says there should be rigorous process

Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow responded Tuesday when asked if he’s talked with others on the team or in his life about gun reform in the wake of recent events across the country. During Tuesday’s news conference, a reporter asked Burrow, “A lot of conversation, franchises across all sports talk about gun reform a little bit in various ways or another, especially after a lot of the events in the last couple of weeks. Has that been something you all have had a conversation in the locker room or even you personally with others around you?”Burrow responded saying, “I really haven’t talked about that part much, I think with everything that’s going on, if you’re not going to outlaw everything, you got to at least make it harder to get those crazy guns that everybody’s using. I don’t think you should be able to just walk in there and buy one. You got to be able to go through a rigorous process to be able to buy something like that. Hopefully, the people that get paid to make those decisions figure it out. My job is to play football, but hopefully, the politicians can figure that one out.”Watch the news conference here
